Who are you people? What's this all about?

The neighborhood of Del Ray is committed to creating grass-roots and community events to strengthen our neighborly bond and small town atmosphere. Come and meet friends, find treasures and make a day of it in our beautiful town of Del Ray!

When?

Our markets run from 9am until 2pm. Early birds and stragglers are not turned away!

This event is held all year long, on the second Saturday of each month. The dates for the 2026 season are as follows (subject to weather cancellations):

Where?

We hold our market in two adjacent parking lots and an added location just one block away from these lots: The parking lot of Wellness Junction/Del Ray Psych & Wellness at 1900 Mt. Vernon Ave. and the back parking lot of the Salvation Army Corps at 1804 Mt. Vernon Ave. and now, Hi/Fi Tex-Mex BBQ at 2000 Mt. Vernon Ave. all in the Del Ray section of Alexandria, VA.

Getting to the Market

Parking can be found on Mt. Vernon Avenue or surrounding neighborhood streets throughout Del Ray
The Mt. Vernon Ave./Bellefonte Ave. bus stop is directly in front of the market; you can take the FREE DASH bus route 33 from Potomac Yard Center or King Street Metro Station; or at regular fares, two Metrobus routes, which connect to the Braddock Metro stop: 10A Alexandria-Pentagon Line or 10B Hunting Point-Ballston Line. All three routes have service on half-hourly intervals at the Bellefonte Ave. bus stop on Saturdays.

Reminders ....

Well-behaved and leashed dogs are more than welcomed - please think twice about bringing them when the asphalt is hot/summer months
Most of our vendors do accept electronic payments but some do not, so bring cash!
During the summer months, sunscreen is a must along with some water and a hat
Bringing your own reusable bags is always a great idea
There is a porta-john on site
